If i've learned anything over the last 5 years, its that life is impossible to plan for. At the same time, everything seems to work out in the end.

You know you always have a place to stay down here with us. Obviously, the VI's are not "off the beaten path" but they are beautiful and you would have good company. I just replied to your email, but i'll definitely be asking around for opportunities for you guys here.

My mom says the best "advice" she ever received was that everything takes longer and costs more than you think it will. I'm so inspired that despite your challenges and your practicality that you're still dreaming big...that's a pretty powerful combination.

On another note, you're creating a very beautiful blog, Lara!

The Road Not Taken

by: Robert Frost

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;
Then took the other, just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that passing there
Had worn them really about the same,
And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I -
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.

I have no travel suggestions, but the above poem sums up my thoughts. This trip will happen for you and Brian, even if it is modified. It will become the motivation for the next adventure. Learn from this experience and most of all enjoy life's experiences. Anne
