Forest and Fin designs are created and printed by hand with the utmost care. Each print starts out in my sketchbook before it goes to the design board (aka my computer) and gets broken down into a one-to-two color design. Environmental awareness and preservation are important in maintaining a healthy world and home, so my designs are printed with water-based non-toxic inks on 100% cotton products. Each product is packaged and shipped using recycled, re-usable, and natural packaging materials.

Printed with water-based, Eco-friendly ink for your enjoyment. Shirts are machine-washable. I recommend turning them inside out and drying them on low heat.

We are designed to be outside.

Inspired by the environment and three-and-a-half years living on a small sailboat, designer Lara Neece spent the last of her savings to purchase equipment, set up a screen-printing studio, and create her company Forest and Fin. An award-winning artist and self-taught graphic designer, she designed and printed her first nature-inspired screen-printed apparel by hand using water-based inks and a manual press. Forest and Fin balances beauty, functionality, and responsible design to inspire people to spend more time outside. Items are made as earth-friendly as possible with portions of revenue giving back to environmental conservation efforts.
