Dear Environmental Non-profit,
I am a local artist with a line of Eco-friendly screen-printed t-shirts called Forest and Fin, which I design and print by hand from my studio at Tivoli Charleston on upper King Street in Charleston, SC. I am interested in using my shirts to make donations to organizations that are helping to conserve or protect the environment. I have been living on a sailboat for three years and have encountered countless ecosystems during my travels locally and in the Caribbean. Because my life is so entwined with the environment, I feel the need to live responsibly and take efforts to conserve my surroundings (and support organizations that are doing so).
I would love to either design a t-shirt to benefit your great organization or use the sales from one of existing shirts to do so. My nature-inspired designs are hand-drawn and printed by me using Eco-friendly materials, and my brand supports sustainable living, outdoor adventure, and the appreciation of nature.
This would be a unique way for me to promote and show appreciation for organizations that I feel fit with the mission of my brand, Forest and Fin, and it would be a great way to spread awareness of your organization. A percentage of the profits from the shirt sales would be donated directly to your organization, and I would print your organization’s name across the back (centered below the neckline above my brand name), so that people purchasing the shirt would know who they are donating to.
